Daniel Habel, Teacher
Daniel Habel has been working in the field of Special Education since 2008. He has a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and a Master’s Degree in Special Education with a concentration in severe disabilities from Virginia Commonwealth University. He also holds a certified teaching license with the Virginia Department of Education.
Daniel has experience working one-on-one with student’s age 8 to 19 implementing educational and behavioral programs. In 2008, Daniel served as lead teaching assistant at Faison School for Autism located in Richmond, VA. In 2016, he worked as a teacher for Henrico County Public Schools as part of the Exceptional Education Program. He joined the Sarah Dooley team as a teacher in April of 2017.
Daniel is dedicated to creating a positive team and learning environment where staff and students can thrive.
