Casey has a passion for serving children with autism and other developmental disabilities. She graduated from Virginia Tech in 2016 with a Bachelor of Arts in English before receiving a Masters of Special Education from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2018. She has been a special education teacher for grades K-8 while serving as an Extended School Year (ESY) program coordinator in the Greater Richmond area. An alum of VCU’s Richmond Teacher Residency, Casey rejoined the program as a clinical resident coach by mentoring aspiring special educators.
